# Upload

In order to upload a file or multiple files to the Alphamoon Workspace platform, first you have to create a [primary ](/documentation/user-guide-how-tos/processes/how-to-create-a-supervised-process-or-use-the-template.md)or a [custom ](broken://pages/AtLm8NgRS7KSjsGXqbB9)process.

Already did that? Now you can add some files to it and create [collections](/documentation/glossary.md#collection). You can either upload a [single file](#upload-a-single-file) or [multiple files](#upload-multiple-files) to a given process. Also, you can [add files to a collection](#add-files-to-a-collection) from the Queue view. Let's see how it all works in practice.

### Upload a single file

If you want to upload a single file to your process simply click the **Upload** button (in the **Queue** view). Once you do that, the window below will pop up:

\
**Drag & drop** your file to the window or **choose the file** you want to upload from your device:

Upload a single file

{% hint style="success" %}
**Success!**

You have now uploaded **a single file** to your process.
{% endhint %}

### Upload multiple files

#### One file per collection

If you want to upload multiple files to your process as one file per collection click the **Upload** button (in the **Queue** view). Once you do that, the window below will pop up:

Make sure that you are in the **Files** tab (navigation on the left side).

**Drag & drop** multiple files to the window or **choose the files** you want to upload from your device:

Upload multiple files

{% hint style="success" %}
**Success!**

You have now uploaded multiple files **as one file per collection**.
{% endhint %}

**Multiple files as one collection**

If you want to upload multiple files as one collection, make sure that you are in the **Folders** tab (navigation on the left side).

**Drag & drop** a folder with files to the window or **choose the folder** you want to upload from your device.

{% hint style="success" %}
**Success!**

You have now uploaded multiple files **as one collection**.
{% endhint %}

### Add files to a collection

You can also add files to already existing collections. In order to do that click on the three dots (last column of the Queue table) and select **Upload**. Drag and drop your files or choose them from your device as follows:
