Supervision mode enables you to manually check all the necessary data you need to extract from your files.

Let's take a closer look at all its features.

How to enter the Supervision?

First, select one of your processes in the Dashboard area. Once you are in the Queue view, simply click on the chosen collection.

You can enter the Supervision if your collection has the Needs review or Accepted status.

Supervision features

Let's start from the top of the page. The header consists of:

  • Name of your collection along with its status

  • A feature enabling you to click through the pages

  • A feature to zoom in or zoom out the document viewer

  • Search bar witch which you can quickly find extracted fields

From the document viewer level you can:

Right section

At the top of this section you will find four icons:

Document splitting feature which automatically separates documents within your large PDF files and organizes them in the UI.

Sorting & filtering enables you to sort your fields alphabetically or by position. From this level, you can also filter the extraction list by field type or by phrase.

Export - click this icon to export your files in the selected format: CSV, JSON, or XLSX.

Collapse documents - this icon enables you to close the extraction fields list and see only the names of your files.

Below these icons, you can see the names of your files and the list of the extracted fields - default or custom ones.

Each field contains the label, value, and - after hovering over the given field - three dots with which you may perform additional actions such as:

  • Edit (also by double-clicking in the middle of the field)

  • Reassign words (only applies to text, not tables).

  • Copy value (also by clicking once on the field)

  • Delete

Now you know all about the Supervision mode.
